Rooted And Restored

Why Rooted and Restored? In a world of rising anxiety and hidden trauma, the Church should be the first place people turn, not the last.

  1. We Believe the Cross holds the definitive answer to our deepest wounds.

  2. We Believe that spiritual maturity and emotional health are inseparable.

  3. We Believe every church can become a "Station of Hope."

Rooted and Restored provides a comprehensive framework to meet the complex needs of your congregants while protecting the hearts of your leaders.

By integrating clinical wisdom with Gospel-centered discipleship, we help you build a community that is rooted in truth and restored in wholeness. Make an impact that lasts.

Mental health isn’t a modern idea, it’s actually historical.

We believe the Gospel isn't just a historical event, it is a living solution. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is active today, bringing healing to our minds, our bodies, and our stories.

Rooted and Restored was created to bridge the gap between ancient biblical truth and modern mental health needs. Our mission is to see churches rooted in the unchanging Word of God and restored to their original design as a sanctuary for the broken.

We don't want your church to just "handle" mental health; we want your leaders to be confident, your volunteers to be equipped, and your entire congregation to thrive in a culture of sustainable, Christ-centered care.

The Four Perspectives of Rooted & Restored

1. The Upward Perspective: Divine Design

The Focus: Theology of the Mind and Body.

We begin by grounding mental health in the character of God. This module moves the conversation away from mental illness as a “character flaw" and toward mental health as a stewardship of God’s creation.

2. The Inward Perspective: Gospel Identity

The Focus: The Interior Life of the Believer.

Many Christians struggle with a "double life". This module teaches how the Gospel addresses the specific whispers of depression, anxiety, and worthlessness.

3. The Backward Perspective: Healing the Roots

The Focus: Trauma, History, and Resilience

Every person and every community carries a "yesterday" that impacts their "today." This module provides a universal understanding of trauma—how it is stored in the body and how it is passed down through families and communities.

4. The Outward Perspective: A Culture of Care

The Focus: Trauma, History, and Resilience

Mental health care shouldn't stop at the pastor’s office. This module equips the entire church, from greeters to small group leaders, to be a "first response" team that is compassionate, safe, and built on appropriate and sustainable boundaries.

Rooted & Restored Live Training Options

4-Hour Workshop (Foundational Training)

Some churches aren’t sure where to start. In a single focused session, your leadership team will walk away with a shared theological framework for mental health. One that replaces shame with discipleship and give your church language it may have never had. This is your entry point.

One Day Workshop (The Shift)

One Day. Real movement. This intensive training takes your team from theological foundation through the emotional interior and then into practical culture of care. Leaders leave with tools they can use immediately.

A wooden table with a natural, swirling grain pattern, surrounded by fabric swatch samples, a notebook with a pen, and a glass vase with reed diffuser sticks.

Two Day (The Full Training)

This is the complete Rooted and Restored experience. Over two days, your team moves through multiple dimensions of mental health ministry. From theology and trauma to community care and sustainable infrastructure. You’ll leave with not just a new framework, but a new culture. This is for churches that are ready to stop reacting and start building something that lasts.

The stage features a stained-glass ceiling design, a cross, and electronic screens displaying visuals. The atmosphere is lively with warm lighting, and large screens on either side display images of the event.
